The experience of highly qualified professionals in our team providing scientific and engineering services to the industry, while handling proprietary information with high confidentiality standards, is significantly greater than the years that we have been in business.
A network of scientists worldwide allows us to be uniquely positioned to broaden our services with the high standards of Excelsus.
The Excelsus Consortium is made of two entities: Excelsus Scientific Engineering and Excelsus Structural Solutions.
Excelsus Structural Solutions (ESS) was created in March 2012 as a spin-off company of the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), the largest federal research center for natural and engineering sciences within Switzerland. Its main offices are located in Brussels (Belgium) whereas it operates primarily at the PSI synchrotron facility in Switzerland.
In February 2012, Excelsus Structural Solutions (Swiss) AG based in Switzerland was created which is highly focused on industrial R&D. ESS SPRL and ESS (Swiss) AG are both part of the Excelsus Consortium, offering easy and affordable access to unique Synchrotron-based characterization tools developed at the Paul Scherrer Institute, to enhance the selection, development and manufacturing of high-quality (bio)pharmaceutical products.
Excelsus Scientific Engineering (ESE) was founded April 2001 in the San Francisco Bay Area (California, USA) with the mission of strengthening and prioritizing the implementation of scientific knowledge and methods on (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing validation activities,
The core competency of Excelsus Scientific Engineering is the use of the latest advances in scientifc methodology for the use of cGMP guidelines by generating the applicable documentation, designing meaningful tests, executing approved protocols and authoring reports that are ultimately presented to the authorities.
As part of the Excelsus Consortium, ESE aims at brining the benefit of innovative technologies directly to patients and health care providers.
